I love working on puzzles, but doing one with Scottie around could be a challenge.
Scottie liked to stretch his enormous Maine Coon body right across the puzzle—and usually across the pieces I needed too.
I even set up an extra table beside the puzzle just for him, thinking that would solve the problem.
It didn’t.
Scottie wasn’t interested in his own table. He needed to be on the actual puzzle table, right in the middle of whatever I was doing.
It’s a wonder I ever finished a puzzle.
And on this particular day, the puzzle was about cats—which somehow seemed appropriate.
Some puzzles have 750 pieces. Mine occasionally came with one very large extra piece.
