I went outside after the storm to check on my plants. One very large planter holding a mosquito plant had fallen over.
Next, I checked the pumpkins to see how much they had grown. The vine was now reaching out into the grass. Fortunately, the gentleman who mows my lawn knows to leave it alone. He enjoys seeing its progress each week, too.

Looking down toward the bird feeder, I noticed the brilliant white flowers of the clematis against my cobalt blue gazing ball. The clematis was in full bloom, its blossoms cascading down the fence.

I had gone outside to check on the garden, but that blue and white caught my attention. I decided to take a picture before another storm came along.
