A Warm Glow on the Patio

The day my solar lantern arrived, I set it outside in the sun. It’s on my patio now, charging during the day and creating a beautiful light in the evening.

One feature I enjoy is the remote control, which lets me change the color of the light. My favorite is the candle setting. It casts the warm glow I prefer on the patio rather than a harsh white light or a bright color.

Both lantern photos here show the white setting. It photographed more clearly, although the candle setting is the one I prefer in person. My motion-detector light was also on when I took these photos, helping show the surrounding patio.

Perhaps I’ll try a different color for the holidays. For most of the year, though, I’ll be using that candle setting—a little evening glow on the patio.
