What I appreciate most about Grampa’s Weeder is not having to bend down—to pull the weed or to pick it up afterward. With my knees and back, that makes a difference.

I step on the tool and rock it to one side, and the claws grab the weed. I’ve found it works especially well on larger weeds because there’s more for it to grab onto. The small ones I still pull by hand.

It’s also nice not having to grab prickly weeds with my hands. Less dirt and fewer scratches are welcome benefits.
I’ve used it many times without any issues. It’s a simple tool, but one I appreciate having in the garden.
