I visit the Bellagio Conservatory every time I go to Las Vegas. The displays change seasonally throughout the year, and there’s always something different to see.
This summer’s display was called “Paradise: Nature’s Most Beautiful Creations.” I felt as if I were walking into a tropical jungle filled with giant lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and beautiful birds.
I found myself getting up close and personal, trying to see what natural materials were used to cover each animal. The faces, the textures, the flowers draped around them—there was so much to look at beyond the size of the displays.

No area seemed to be left bare. Every space was filled with flowers, stones, grass, and even water. Looking at the whole scene was wonderful, but I kept stopping to study the smaller details.

The only drawback was the crowd. Getting a clear photograph wasn’t easy.
I did my best!
